Vingroup established its subsidiary VinDynamics, beginning production and technology transfer in the field of robotics.

On September 18, the Board of Directors of Vingroup JSC passed a resolution approving the participation in establishing a subsidiary.

Accordingly, the proposed name of the subsidiary is VinDynamics Joint Stock Company for Research, Development, and Application of Humanoid Robots.

VinDynamics has a charter capital of VND 500 billion, of which Vingroup owns 51%. Its headquarters is located at Symphony Office Building, Chu Huy Man Street, Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area, Phuc Loi Ward, Hanoi, a building that hosts the headquarters of many Vingroup technology companies.

The main business of VinDynamics is research, development, production, and technology transfer in the field of robotics.

Vingroup established its subsidiary VinDynamics, initiating production and technology transfer in the robotics sector.

In this year’s annual report, Vingroup stated that it will increase investment in technology and industry, with particular focus on developing multi-functional humanoid robots under the “Made in Vietnam” brand.

Vingroup has also established two other subsidiaries, VinRobotics and VinMotion, each with a charter capital of VND 1,000 billion, totaling VND 2,000 billion. These two entities operate concurrently but take on different roles within the robotics ecosystem the group is building.

VinMotion, founded in early 2025, is tasked with designing and developing Vietnam’s first generations of multi-purpose humanoid robots. These robots are capable of performing a variety of tasks in daily life and production, aiming for high versatility. Vingroup refers to this line as “general-purpose humanoid robots”, with the ambition to create products competitive in the international market.

Meanwhile, VinRobotics, established at the end of 2024, focuses on foundational technology research and prototype development for production and service robots. The company concentrates on industrial robots, service robots, and AI applications in automation. Products developed by VinRobotics will undergo testing and market validation before commercialization.

According to official announcements, Vingroup’s strategy balances long-term technology development with high-application product development. The establishment of VinMotion and VinRobotics demonstrates a methodical approach to maintaining autonomy in both research and implementation, without relying on external technology partners.
